Description: This is a great route that is never boring and keeps you close to the cities. The first half is rolling and the second is flat. From MopedU take a right onto Maple St heading east. Take a left onto Mission Blvd shortly proceed through the stoplight shortly after veer left unto Old Wire Rd remain on Old Wire Rd all the way to the intersection at 265. Go straight through the light then turn left remaining on Old Wire Rd. At mile 5.5 veer right. You will be on a short gradual climb. At the top of the climb go straight onto 345/Gulley Rd from here ride about half a mile you will stay straight onto 539/Howard Porter Rd ACHTUNG! There is a blind left hand corner that sneaks up on you. At the stop sign turn right onto 92/Guy Terry Rd. The next 1.7 miles is a fun rolling section of road with some cool twists and turns. There is a neat wine tasting bar and Saddlebock Brewery is also on the stretch. At the stop sign turn left onto 89/Habberton Rd. Remain on Habberton Rd for 1.2 miles. You will veer right onto 93/Sonora Rd remain on this road for the next 2.5 miles. You will come to the stop light at 412. Go straight at the light and remain on Sonora Rd you will go up the Sonora Rd climb and top out near a rock quarry on the right. Take a right on 36/Pleasure Heights Rd. This is a fun section of road. In about two miles you will come to a stop sign. Hang a left onto 615/Cow Face Rd remain on this road for 2.9 miles. At the stop sign hang a left onto 264. ACHTUNG! This road generally has heavy traffic with larger vehicle. You will only be on it for about a mile or so. I recommend you ride single file. Just after the climb you will hang a right onto 618/Ervin McGarrah Rd (barking dog). Don’t worry not many barking dogs anymore. This is a great section of road that begs for speed. At mile 24 you will come to what looks like a dead T. Veer left and remain on 84/Ervin McGarrah Rd. At the stop sign turn left onto 1184 Frisco Cemetery Rd. Here you will climb the .6 mile Frisco Cemetery Rd climb (230ft gain). Proceed to the stop sign. Turn left onto Old Wire Rd at the next stop sign turn right onto 923/McClure Ave and proceed towards Lowell. Veer left onto Johnson Ave and left again riding along the train tracks. At the next stop sign turn right cross the tracks and stop at the gas station at the intersection at 71 business. This is a perfect place to refuel. Stay straight crossing 71 remaining 264/Monroe Ave eventually you will cross over I49. ACHTUNG! This is a high traffic stretch of road. Be courteous to motorists keeping your group tight and together. After you cross I49 you have about 1.2 miles on this high traffic road. You are looking for a left turn onto 61/Spring Creek Rd. Once on Spring Creek Rd you will follow it due south at mile 33.7 you will come to a stop sign. Hang a right onto 72/Brown Rd. At the first sharp left hand turn you will want to veer left onto 236/Zion St remain on Zion St until the stop sign. ACHTUNG! There are a couple blind 90 degree turns on this section. You will see a rock quarry on the left. At the stop sign go straight and at the bottom of the hill (quickly) take a right onto 56th and then a quick left after the bridge onto 70/Whittle Rd, another fun rolling section, be careful there is hard right hand turn that sneaks up on you. At the stop sign hang a left onto 928/Oak Grove Rd and remain straight on this until the stop sign at the intersection of Har Ber Ave. Take a right onto Har Ber Ave. When you see the neighborhood on the left you will turn left onto Ireland St at the stop sign turn left onto Tall Oaks Loop and another left onto Francis Fair Prkwy. At the stop sign turn right on 56th St crossing 412 at the intersection. From here remain on this going past Arvest Ball Park until you hit the stop sign at the intersection of 90/New Hope Rd, turn left onto New Hope and you will go down a descent to a stop sign. Turn left onto Johnson Mill Blvd and remain until you reach the stop light intersection Main Dr, take a right onto Main Dr and follow this into Johnson. At the stop light intersecting Gregg Ave turn right onto Gregg Ave and follow this back into Fayetteville. At mile 47.5 turn right onto Quality Ln and look for a sidewalk on the left that connects to the trail system. From here you can pick up the trail system and make your way back to Moped U.
