The weekend could not get here any sooner. Can you say TOUR OF FLANDERS? No really say it with me, TOUR OF FLANDERS.
Two festivals on tap and a bunch of group rides here locally. I’m torn between two routes for the OCA Saturday Ride and taking votes. Please see below. Also, be sure to check out the Ozark Roadies first ride of the year on Saturday. Please note the OORC MTB social ride tonight has been moved to May 7th due to wet trails.

GROUP RIDES
SATURDAY
Fayetteville
OCA Road Ride. Wheels Hot @ 8:00 from the parking lot adjacent to MopedU. I’m torn between two routes. Let’s take a vote! Leave a comment below to vote. We haven’t done the Airport Loop in a while. What say you!? 58 miles. About 3 hours of saddle love. Or option 2 a 62 miler. Roll out 71 to Winslow drop into Devil’s Den and back in through West Fork. What say you!? Pace spirited. No drop (within reason). Advanced level. Regroups after major climbs. One pit stop. Click on images for route details.
Springdale
Ozark Roadies Ride. Beginning at 8 am from the Arvest Ballpark NW parking lot (on Watkins not 56th). The route has no rated climbs and is known as the Savoy Loop. The ride will be staged in two groups – Ozark Velo is a drop ride led by Dean LaGrone averaging 15-18 mph and will be closely followed by the Ozark Roadies led by Dick Nelson as a no-drop group at a slightly more social pace. You may float freely between the groups, but if with Velo, you need to know the route since you could be dropped (or you could just wait on the Roadies to catch up). All are welcome. Each rider is responsible for whatever happens. Click here for details.
Bentonville
BMC Road Ride. Leaves @ 9am from the Bentonville Square. Usually 55-65 miles. Fast with regrouping. Advanced ride.
Girls Bike Bentonville All Girls Road Ride. Time and distance varies depending on season. Follow Bike Bentonville on Facebook for weekly ride updates!
Phat Tire No Drop Road Ride. Meet at Phat Tire on the square at 8:00 pm for a no-drop, 20-30 mile road ride. Contact Phat Tire Bike Shop for more details – 479-715-6170 or follow them on Facebook for ride updates!
Rogers
Lewis & Clark Road Ride. Leaves @ 8 am (summer) 9 am(winter/spring) from L&C Rogers location. 1.5 -2 hour intermediate level road ride. Click here for more information.
SUNDAY
Fayetteville
ONYX Coffee Lab Ride. Leaves @ 12:30 from ONYX on Gregg street. Pace spirited. Usually 50 miles about 3 hours. Route TBD. Advanced ride.
I vote the 62 miler. Devil’s Den!
Devils Den for the spring time optics is my vote.
Looks like it is going to be a chilly start with a slight wind from the Northeast. So, I vote for the Airport Loop.
I feel strongly for both rides. I vote 1 for airport and 1 for devils den. Hope that helps.
I vote for the Devils Den route.
Let’s do the Devil’s Den route!
