The NWA Bellview crew is doing 100 miler on Saturday leaving from Arvest Ball Park at 8:00 am and heading south. The plan is to head to Black Oak first, then through the valley. Stop at Winslow for water. Head to Devils Den. Then to Strickler and over to Hogeye. Then to Prairie Grove, Savoy, Waste Management and back to Arvest. Obviously there would be options to bail out if you live in Fayetteville. The route will be posted on NWA Bellview early this week. We will regroup at the tops of big climbs but we need to keep it rolling to finish in a timely manner. The average speed will be about 18mph. Come join! – Keith Stewart
Tour de Yorkshire Women Stage 2
American Megan Guarnier plays second fiddle no longer. She has come close on several occasions but when your teammate is Anna van der Breggan (NED) well enough said. Her first victory of 2018 and on her birthday.
Giro d’Italia Stage 3
At one point in the final kilometers, Quick-Step Floors rides the peloton off its wheel. Zdenek Stybar (CZE Champ), Maximilian Schachmann (GER), Michael Morkov (DEN) doing the lions share, depositing Elia Viviani (ITA) safely to the last turn. Viviani would score his second stage of this Giro in elbowy fashion. This is Quick-Step Floors 33rd victory in 2018. It is Viviani’s 7th win of the season.
