Tour of Oman Stage 4
Greg Van Avermaet (BEL) the sprinter? The Olympic Champ is looking good ahead of the Spring Classics. Sonny Colbrelli (ITA) overtook GVA a few meters from the line. Registering his first win of 19 and for his team Bahrain-Merida. Most of the big name sprinters have opened their accounts in 19, except Mark Cavendish (GBR) and Andre Greipel (GER).
Tour of Oman Stage 5
Alexey Lutsenko (KAZ) pulls the hat-trick with a gripping final on Green Mountain. Reeling in the final member of the 100km breakaway meters from the finish. He truly dominated this race. Pointing to the sky twice and kissing his finger he dedicated the win to his wife and two children that were lost in a miscarriage back in December.
Ruta Del Sol Stage 1
Things are looking good for Tim Wellens (BEL). He looks ready to take on the Classics. The final climb was steep and cobbled and his poise to hold back until the end proved to be the right tactic.
