How to pull over in the protected bike lanes when emergency vehicles are coming.
Remember last year the team with the most wins (73) struggled to find a new sponsor. Well they did. Deceuninck is a Belgian designer and producer of PVC systems for windows and doors, interior, roof-line & cladding and terraces. The incident with one of the riders at the Vuelta a San Juan has completely blown up and team boss Patrick Lefevere has only made things worse. Now the title sponsors Marketing Manager has stepped in. Surely they will put a cork in Pat and punish Iljo Keisse. Click above to read the full article.
Vuelta a San Juan Stage 3
ITT…yawn…only showing this because the Belgian child prodigy Remco Evenepoel (BEL) Deceuninck-QuickStep got his first podium. The 19 year old phenom is already making waves in the Pros. Watch out cycling world. Meanwhile teammate Julian Alaphilippe (Fra) is poised to have a great spring campaign. Winning again.
Vuelta a San Juan Stage 4
Fernando Gaviria (COL) wins again. His lead out train is solid. Watch Peter Sagan (SVK) close the gap that his teammate created in the final meters then serge past for second. Impressive effort but clearly a bust when his teammate sat up.
Herald Sun Tour Stage 1 Women/Men
Well Chloe Hosking (AUS) saw a bit of redemption after suffering from a mechanical at Cadel’s Race. Daniel Mclay (GBR) won the sprint on the men’s side. After an incredibly slow start last year I bet EF Education is stoked to get a win early.
Herald Sun Tour Stage 2 Women
Lucy Kennedy (AUS) of Mitchelton-Scott closed the Australian racing season with another win. The team has dominated this last stretch of races Down Under.
Herald Sun Tour Stage 2 Men
Michael Woods (CAN) and Richie Porte (AUS) are clearly on another level at the moment. This time Woods getting the better of Porte. It wasn’t too long ago that Woods raced Joe Martin. Look at him now.
