Sad deal here. If you are riding in low light conditions please use lights and high visibility clothing.
Lots of conversations happening on the bike lanes project at Rolling Hills. NWA Democrat Gazette just dropped this piece.
Inspiring story of Little Rock cyclist Jason Macom who lost his leg and returned to the bike. Click on image to read the article.
Women’s Tour Down Under
Stage 2 was the moment the overall was won. Amanda Spratt (AUS), repeats her performance from last year. Her team would dominate the race.
Down Under Classic
Coming off a win last week, Caleb Ewan (AUS) was the easy pick to win. In his new Lotto kit he would take on his former team and multi-time World Champ Peter Sagan. Ewan easily dispatched Sagan and Alex Edmondson (AUS) Mitchelton-Scott. But the crash in the final meters took out other key sprinters. Notable: Sagan was riding on an alloy frame and tubeless tires (presumably), the Specialized Allez which they are calling the crit bike.
Tour Down Under Stage 1
Elia Viviani (ITA) continues the good times of 2018. He had 23 wins in 2018 and now has the monkey off his back. He looked clearly to be on another level with a vicious acceleration waiting late since it was a headwind sprint.
