To celebrate, BikeNWA has partnered with Love to Ride, sponsored by First National Bank, to host a month-long celebration! Throughout May, there are weekly and overall challenges for participants to compete, win prizes, and top the leaderboards. The challenges are for all ages, abilities, and styles of riding.
To participate, users register for free on Lovetoride.net/nw-arkansas
Love to Ride also syncs with Strava or MapMyRide. It’s not all about who can ride the most miles, but about encouraging as many people as possible to set themselves biking goals and ride for health, happiness, and fun.
HOW TO TAKE PART
Follow these three steps:

Team work makes the dream work. After knocking on the door so many times this season Demi Vollering (Team SD Worx) finally got it right taking the biggest win of her career. The World Champ Anna van der Breggen (Team SD Worx) teed her up taking to the front making sure the chasers would not catch the selection and kept the attackers at bay. Vollering finished things off making sure to celebrate AFTER crossing the line. Great race, awesome teamwork.
After pulling out of Flèche Wallonne due to a COVID false positive you knew UAE Team Emirates would be hungry to race. And Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) would not be denied. Michael Woods (Israel Start-up Nation) really had the most race defining attack on the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons at about 13km out. This formed the final selection of Alejandro Valverde (Movistar Team), David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ), Julian Alaphilippe (QuickStep), Tadej Pogacar (UAE) a who’s-who of big names. I mean TdF winner, current World Champ, past World Champ, Vuelta winner just to name a few. Birthday boy Valverde would kick first off the front then Woods, Alaphilipppe came around then Pogacar overtakes him on the line. Another closely contested final. The Classics are great!
