The Saturday Ride tackled about 60 miles of Ozark goodness this morning. Some of my favorite stretches of road. It wasn’t as cold as the weather forecast predicted which was a pleasant surprise. We had a couple guys from Harrison join us and one from Tulsa, always good to meet new folks on the bike!
A big thanks to Puritan Brew Co. for hosting. #startwellendwell And CLIF BAR for fueling the ride. #feedyouradventure
Small group this morning. I guess the cold snap forecast kept folks inside or waiting until later in the day.
I over dressed! I will get winter clothing dialed in right as spring comes!
Gem Rd. climb. Kudos to Johnny P for grabbing the KOM.
Quick refuel in Lincoln.
Ozarkia.
Canehill Rd. is one of my favorites.
Scenic views.
And twisty-turny goodness.
Then we dropped down to Greasy Valley.
Greasy Valley Rd. is also really cool. I highly recommend these two stretches.
Great ride this morning. Hope you got out! Forecast does not look to good for tomorrow.
Total climbing: 4199 ft
Looks like a great ride. I might be almost able to ride it even though I’m an old fart. ????Jacob
Come on out! That is one of the great things about cycling. You can ride for a long time because it’s low impact on the joints!
I’ve joined the BCO and am going to ride the 70mile course for the Highway 71 ride. Thx for the encouragement.
