This morning The Saturday Ride tackled a classic. One of my favorite routes in Arkansas. We added Sunset Rd. and Black Oak for good measure. About 75 miles of Ozark glory. 5000 gain. It’s been awhile since I have done a ride over 60 miles. I definitely felt it the last 45 minutes or so. I was completely cooked going up Black Oak. It was a great morning to be on a bike.

The bunch.
The views are great now with all the leaves gone.
Dropping into Devil’s Den State Park.
A ton of deer in this park. Something to keep in mind on the descent.
What goes down…
must go up!
And up!
Just past Blackburn right before you cross I49 there is a awesome view.
So it is no sidewalk cafe. It’ll get the job done.
