Small crew this morning for The Saturday Ride. It was a chilly start right at the freezing mark. I decided we should hit some gravel roads for some extra warmth. I still need to get my winter clothing selection dialed. I over dressed again and had to make a bunch of changes in the first 30 minutes. Funny how you get out of practice year to year. But clothing choices make a big difference in enjoying or not enjoying the ride. I’m just glad it’s not raining! Savoy Loop (Gravel) is about 40 miles of flat (for these parts) scenic Ozark goodness. It was much warmer than I thought.
But still could enough to break out the Hydroflask.
We knew we would encounter flood damage.
Nobody wanted to get their feet wet with these cold temps.
Turned out to be a great morning.
We made lots of friends.
Up!
