First legit cold snap of the winter riding season. Mid 30’s with a gnarly north wind. I decided we should hit some gravel roads to get out of the wind a bit and the slower speed also helps to keep you a little warmer. The wind was demoralizing once we turned north. 8-9 mph on the flats and you feel like you are climbing a mountain. This route is cool with some nice sections of gravel south of West Fork. Folks if you haven’t tried gravel you should. Great for cold days and it will expand your route options a ton.
