Can’t say enough about this amazing weather. Fall is in full effect. There is something so PRO about shoe covers, vests, caps & warmers. And the look of filled jersey pockets by the end of a ride. This morning a bunch of us decided to do the Banded Suffering Charity Ride. It’s a fundraiser for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Austin a junior on the HealthSouth Racing Team has Type 1. I gotta say it’s really impressive managing this disease and competing in endurance sport. Kudos Austin! My buddies and I decided on the 50 miler. They had rides on up to 100 miles. The event was well run with lots of support. If you missed it this year check them out next year.
A small group started early to get some extra miles.
