The holiday stretch was great. The weather not so much. But we had some dry warmish days and then a über cold ending. I’m not going to complain…yet. I was able to convince a few others to get out. Kudos to everyone who couldn’t bear the indoors any longer and bundled up to tussle with old man winter.
Holidays are for home improvement. Fitz closet project.
I am thankful for good friends with skillz. Dusty P was nothing less than PRO.
Ringing in the new year proper with a dirt road adventure. Johnny Law came up with the route. This is Winn Creek Rd south of West Fork. The last 45 minutes rain moved in making for a cold wet return to civilization.
Holy crap! Huge thanks to Kelly M for making Fitz a cycling cap. This rocks!
The look. Won’t be long before this little guy drops me on climbs. I’m certain this is the look he will give me.
1.5 sheets of wood. Less than $200 bones. Fitz has more shoes than me.
Did you know that closets are the way to a woman’s heart? Okay at least PCG’s.
Somehow I convinced some other lost souls to breathe in old man winter today.
19 degrees. Actually not so bad on a MTB. On a trail shielded from the nor wind.
The sun made it more agreeable. Stopping was kept to a minimum.
Tree down. Note the bare hands of 4 kids.
Fully rigid at Sequoyah is legit. Good times. Glad to have company on such a bitter cold day.
Little Fitz wants to wish you a Happy New Year!
