Arkansas NICA racing is on fire! Our second race, Slaughter Pen Slam had 120 riders competing for a place on the podium. The atmosphere was electric with competition, cheering and cowbells ringing non stop.
A BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers that made the race possible. The race production team is made up entirely of volunteers, and your help with everything from setting up the course to taking down the course and infield are so valuable.
Girls Wave
In the girls division, Lauren Adams from Lincoln Junior High said she was proud that she “improved enough to get first place and to be on top of the podium.” She is looking forward to practicing even more to stay on top of the podium.

Parker Cantrell from Lincoln Junior High took third place in the Middle School Boys Division. According to Parker, his most memorable moment was “Getting third place and going on the podium.” Cantrell’s coach, Tim Keith stated, “I am very proud of all the riders. The standout performance this week would be between Eli Seay and Dakota Falcon. Dakota prevailed but Eli ran the last 100 yards with his chain off to secure 2nd place.” Now that is what we are talking about! Desire, dedication and competition in its truest form!

Anya Bruhin, head coach for Pea Ridge High School said, “Everything was great! We had our whole team present along with everyone’s parents/siblings and other family members. All of the riders improved their best times significantly. We had a really great atmosphere in our tent with all of the families and riders coming together. That is my favorite thing about the league.” Bryce Wall, who finished first place for Pea Ridge in the Freshman Boys division, stated, “The race was very well planned out, and I really enjoyed racing against the other athletes in our area. I am only able to race on Saturdays, so this was a fun opportunity to be able to compete.”
