Saturday Click here to see what route they are doing this weekend.
NOTE: Pace is generally 15-18 mph. Velo is a drop ride and riders should know the route should they disconnect with the group. Click here for details. They update their Facebook page with ride details.
Riders are RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1 – Know the route.
2 – This is a Road Bike RIDE, thus Roadies are expected to keep a 14 – 15 MPH pace
3 – Hydration – Bring adequate fluids/water (2 bottles)
4 – Repair equipment – At a minimum you should have ONE REPLACEMENT TUBE for your bike, plus a AIR CARTRIDGE to inflate your tire
5 – Respect safety rules (group ride etiquette) and wear proper safety cycling helmet
6 – Riders must be 18 or older
Anyone may legally ride this route on their own. At this point in the season, these rides are NO LONGER “NO DROP RIDES” – Anyone who adheres to the above will have a group that shares common goals for the day, and GOOD SAMARITANS that will assist. Any one who does not adhere to 6 points above is on their own.
Richard can be contacted prior to and during the ride (985) 960-3084. I recommend you have his number and additional participants cell numbers available on your mobile device during the ride should you need assistance.
