Howdy peeps! The first week of slap in the face time change is nearly done. How’s everyone holding up? It’s kinda brutal to see darkness when you get off work. Time to get creative and lean on good friends for motivation! Group rides are posted. Ride your bike and soak up the Sun!
How the race (Koppenbergcross) was won. #eurofeed
The funny Brits are back with improving your bow staff bike handling skillz. Good stuff.
#tbt Can you name the local lads in this picture?
Can you name the gas station bathroom this photo hangs up in?
Group Rides
Saturday
Fayetteville
OCA ride. Wheels hot @ 8:00 (that’s right Ben) from MopedU. What’s on tap? I was thinking a little Lincoln – 4 Corners – HK action. Oooohhh snap! Pace spirited. Regroups at the top of climbs. Rest stop at Lincoln. 55 miles, about 3 hours of saddle love & tons of stunning scenery. Click here to link to STRAVA map Columbia, I brought some hot tea for you last Saturday. What happened?
Sunday
Ride fast, be safe & don’t forget to flush,
That’s from the Road Runner on college. Loved seeing that when I first used it.
Well done sir! Someone drew a Hitler mustache on Williams .
Hangs in the road runner station across from brits and turks/iga.
Yep, I have stared at that pic for a few before some of the WHF rides haha!
Glad I can be of service motivating you guys to “lose weight”
That looks like Gary Tucker and Jeremy Kuehn in the front?
Looks like Barry H as well. I wonder where this was taken?
Jeremy Kuehn, Gary Tucker, Leigh Davis & myself. Pic was taken on the climb from Lake Fort Smith towards Winslow/71. Part of a campaign by the Fayetteville Visitor’s Bureau. I think Shaune Colwell & Wanda Lanier were there too?
That pic was taken back when I was actually race ready. Jeff Jeff Williams will always be race ready (white jersey on my left)
So the decorator or owner of the convenience store must be a local and roll on 2 wheels?
How to Improve Handling Skills? Buy a Mountain Bike and ride it. Preferable a HT XC rig that requires lots of body English, and never allow yourself to quit striving to ride newer, harder trails. For added skill building try riding flatter MTB trails on the road bike! At least that’s how I did it! (but my road bike group ride skills are vastly lacking!)
Thanks Z!
