TDU Stage 5
Richie Porte proved it was his race to lose all along when he rode everyone of the wheel at Willunga. But BMC’s team tactics played the spoiler on general classification. Love this sport.
Horner
How does Chris Horner win the Vuelta and end up riding for a domestic team (no offense)? Why wouldn’t a big budget team not want a seasoned veteran known for being a great tactician with big time grand tour results. What gives?
World Cup Hoogerheide
Their is not a clear favorite for Worlds in the men’s or women’s fields. It’s gonna be exciting to watch.

OCA
I think Horner got greedy after La vuelta. He wanted a long term high paying contract and at his age and with so many good young riders coming into the pipe, it wasn’t a realistic goal. Saying that, Horner is an excellent rider.
G, I agree. He is old but his tactical skills being shared with younger riders seems pretty valuable. I wonder what his pay cut is to keep riding.
Right after I rode the comment, I read an in depth article about Horner in velonews magazine. I changed my opinion about him. Someone that is against doping can’t defend Armstrong or punish those that speak against it.
Yeah that is a LITTLE weird.
