Spring chill was in the air this morning. But made bearable with the promise of plenty o’sunshine and increasing warmth as the sun got higher. The bunch voted on the Devils Den route which was a great choice. 64 miles and 3,500 gain. About 3.5 hours of saddle love. It’s hard to beat spring rides. I kinda had a pinch myself moment this morning. We have it really good here in the Ozarks and I was feeling super fortunate to be able to ride these roads with this crew. If you’re not out exploring your surroundings you are missing out. It’s so good for the soul. Okay enough with the warm fuzzy stuff already!
South on 71.
Into the hills.

Lined out. Some horsepower in the bunch this morning.

Robin, are there quite a few of your normal crew riding the JM Gran Fondo?
Most are racing. I expect the pace to be much more tame for the JMGF. For me it’s more about the distance not so much pace.
This is always one of my favorite of the Saturday morning routes and especially this time of year. So much good terrain to please all.
