Winter has officially beat me down. Perhaps it is my Okinawa roots. Tropical island blood doesn’t fare so well in what PCG is calling frickity-frack cold. It’s not just riding bicycles. It is everything. Weather alters how you live. I know…it’s not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I know…there are bigger issues in the world. But everyday life is where the rubber meets the road. I have never been affected by the seasons like this before. Thankfully PCG is gracious enough to put up with me and my friends laugh affectionately at my depression speak. I did manage to convince a couple other fools to get out and tackle what I call the urban assault. Get out there folks! It’s good for ya.
The most used bike in the stable lately.
Studs.
Let’s all chip in and get Nathan B some proper shoe covers.
At the beginning of winter I like all the clothing layers. At the end…I hate all the clothing layers.
On the way to Lake Fayetteville we decided on a little detour.
Agricultural Park looked cool but was super sketchy. Several falls.
The lake trails were great. I had hard time keeping up.
Jason B was planning to ride the trainer (again). Peer pressure.
Spying Zach M through the trees. Can you see him?
Managed to convince John N (pure roadie) to get out in it.
Sunday I even convinced Mr. I DO NOT RIDE WHEN IT IS COLD to get out. I think it was more new bike inspiration then me. SYMOND Cycles custom steel 29er. Another sick paint scheme. Handmade right here in Fayetteville. http://www.symondcycles.com/
First ride on the new steed.
Good times. Here’s to warmer days ahead.
Random night shots from downtown.
I really like blurred lights for some reason. Just move the camera while taking the photo.
Artsy fartsy.
