One of our favorite routes in Arkansas. The Mulberry Loop is pretty amazing. Some of the smoothest roads you will find anywhere, with crazy incredible Ozark scenery. About 58 miles, 3600 gain, with two significant climbs. You will end up meandering along the Mulberry River for many miles. So cool. Please note, you will be on Hwy. 23 for about 12 miles. This road has fast moving traffic and I would not recommend riding it alone. It is best ridden with a small well working group. Keeping it tight until you are off 23. Then you might see 2 cars the rest of the way! Go ride this route!

A great group of riders assembled at the Turner Bend Store. Fort Smith and Conway representing!
The rain came down and we had some falls. While it is a part of cycling we always hate to see it. Everyone ended up okay in the end!
At about mile 30 there is a gas station near the turn on to 103. A perfect location for a water stop.
Love seeing this sign, in a twisted way. At mile 34 is the 103 Climb. 3 miles and 900 gain.
Up!
Ozarkia.
Head back west on 215, one of the coolest stretches of road! You meander along the river for the next 15 miles.
Another Ozark Cycling Adventure is in the books. Now, Let’s Eat! Sandwiches from the Turner Bend Store.
Total climbing: 3469 ft
Looks awesome. I’ve been thinking about driving down and doing an out and back excluding the Hwy 23 stretch. When I’ve rode 23 alone it’s been pretty sketchy.
If you are solo, out and back would be the best option. I have not ridden it that way but several folks say it is also great.
Can’t believe I missed it! And all for a time trial. Gotta have this one again Rob!
But hey you won State! Congrats! We will ride it again probably in the fall.
Great pics
Thanks!
