History was made Sunday when the Arkansas Interscholastic Cycling League held its first race the Razorback Rumble. Over 120 students registered for the event! Congrats to the organizers along with a bunch of volunteers who pulled it off! I must say the vibe was great with a ton of support from parents, coaches and athletes. The best part was listening to the young students recounting the details of their race with teammates. Man if this would have been around when I was in middle school! If you are looking for something different for your kids to get involved in this is a great option! Teams train together twice a week with coaches and volunteers in preparation for the 4 race series. This is going to be huge for the future of cycling in Arkansas! Stay tuned for a race recap.
