“The Kessler Campaign” – A Community Supported Trail Project
In fall of 2017, the Ozark Off Road Cyclists (OORC) acquired grant funding to purchase 40-acres adjacent to the 620-acre Kessler Mountain Regional Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The purchase conserved outdoor open green-space within the City of Fayetteville, preserved over a mile of existing trail including portions of Western Myth and Spellbound, and created the future possibility to connect the recreational opportunities on top of Kessler to the communities of Farmington and Prairie Grove.
Starting in March, the OORC is launching The Kessler Campaign – a Community Supported Trail Project to raise $125,000 in funding to develop new multi-use trails on Kessler Mountain. Once completed, the new trails will become part of the existing trail system and add an additional 40-acres to Kessler Mountain Regional Park.
Just drop in Friday March 1st, from 5-8pm at Sideways Bar located at 311 W Dickson St, Ste 201 in Fayetteville to find out all the campaign details and support Kessler Mountain! Click here for event details!
