I love the fall riding season!! The cooler weather helps with long rides and the beautiful colors are amazing!!!
Love the fall colors and not sweating to death!
Longer rides and the fall colors are great.
The best thing about fall riding is the crisp air and the changing leaves. My favorite season!
Love that first blanket of leaves on the trail and the way they feel under tires!
It gets cold; days get short; there are deer everywhere; everyone suddenly starts hammering on group rides for no reason.
Oh this was supposed to be things I like? Pretty leaves, I guess.
You need a hug!
Beautiful Ozarkia weather when the frost is on the pumpkin!
Great views and good company make riding the Ozarks quite memorable!
Riding behind OCA and not getting a sweat bath.
For sure! Not a bath, more like a sweat shower in the fall!
The colors on the trees. Both road and trail.
Changing leaves & not sweating!
What I love about Fall riding is scenery and to show off new cycling attire.
I don’t like fall riding. I just want the cookies.
Long rides, drier air, fall colors.
I love the changing and falling leaves. The cool weather is quite nice!
I love the crisp air and the changing leaves. And riding whenever I feel like it!
Cooler temps and seeing all the fall colors
Not sweating as much! And the falling leaves 🙂
EmBROcation
With the changing of colors, the same old routes are made anew!
Wet slippery leaves demand attention, change your performance envelope and cause you to learn nuanced pedaling and turning or…crash. And crashing every once in a while lets me know I’m pushing my limits.
When the trail conditions are perfect!
Seeing people that dressed too warm in the morning hours have to peel out of their base layers on the side of the road!
I like the fact that I don’t have to change back into shorts before I leave work and don’t have to worry about falling over from heat exhaustion sitting at a stop light. I love the leaves at NWA in the fall. I feel the *best* time to ride “casually” in NWA is a little before the leaves fall off so you can see the best colors. The bridge on the Clear Creek Trail (which I think is between Johnson and Fayetteville) is a favorite to take my wife and kids to during the fall regardless of whether we are walking or riding.
Love the open trails with the leaves gone.
