I ride for mental and physical health. Being outside makes me feel better!
Golf has become too SLOW and boring!!
Lol!
I ride to better myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Nothing feels quite as good as taking out all your frustrations after a stressful day of work on your pedals!
Need the outdoors after being in an office all week to clear the mind and push myself physically.
The feeling of the excitement as the peloton winds up before the final bunch sprint is the greatest thing! I live for it!
To hangout with the coolest of people and continuously challenge myself to improve. And sometime just for some good ole fun!
I ride because I love being outside!
I ride for the adrenaline rush, to improve my physical fitness and to enjoy nature. I’m still pretty new to mountain biking, but it’s already become an addiction!
Hemingway said it best: “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.”
There is nothing better than getting on my bike and going for a ride. I can go anywhere from my saddle whether it is physically: along the river trail or up a steep climb, or mentally: to France in the peleton or ridding across the hot ass desert of the Sahara. Some of my best rides are the ones that I let the bike takeover.
So I don’t weigh 497lbs
So I can wear tight spandex and shave my legs
I started riding because I recently moved to the area and wanted to see what these world class trails were all about. Wow! OZ trails are amazing and help me enjoy some killer cardio.
I ride for the challenge, the scenery, time with friends and to feel better physically and mentally.
For fun and fitness!
Mental, physical, and emotional health
Meeting and hanging with fun, interesting people that are ALIVE
Getting outdoors, going places, and seeing things
Personal challenge
Competition
I ride therefore I am. Cycling has brought joy back to my life because of all it gives me. So I ride to share that joy with others and to renew my spirit.
For the camaraderie and the fitness
I ride for fun, to explore, and to be overall more awesome.
I ride to stress free my mind, lose weight, physical challenge.
To hurt the legs of others…
That would be me, on Tuesday night!
To escape from the world around me. When I get on the bike the only thing that matters is riding.
So true!
I’d say fitness, being outdoors, and comraderie, but it’s mainly so I can drink beer afterwards.
It’s a family family hobby! Me, my wife, and my kids can all spend time together doing what we love.
I ride because it is literally the best thing to do whenever you want. It gives you a great workout and once you go on like 20 long rides, you will know your way around Fayetteville flawlessly! I also ride on the Breakaway Cycling Team of NWA.
To reach across the wind with an out stretched arm to acknowledge the pain of a complete stranger in the efforts of a failed breakaway but knowing one day it will work.
To look like Ben U!
It’s cheaper than therapy.
I started riding last year for physical health, but it’s done more than just get me in shape. I feel better mentally now than any other time in my life. And it’s way more fun than I ever imagined.
Ride to live to ride. Exercise is just a bonus
I ride to be out in the woods where I belong! Also, endorphins keep the sadness away.
Best way to decompress imaginable. Doesn’t matter how fast, how far, or where it is always serene for me. Love every minute of it.
Because riding a bike can put you in a better place.
I ride because I started to have health problems. High blood pressure and pre-Diabetes . Something I enjoy and it’s helping my health get better.
I ride to burn off the crazy.
