Well Fayetteville, it was fun while it lasted. School is almost back in session and overnight our roads will swell with 20,000+ college students. All of NWA roads for that matter, as public and private schools will be back in session. As a motorist it is that time of year that you must adjust your time budget for getting from place to place. Even altering routes to avoid certain areas.
More so road cyclists, it is time to heighten your awareness. Motorists will be more disgruntled then normal and more vehicles on the roads spikes the risk factor a bit. All that to say, in the coming weeks we wish you a safe commute and safe recreating out on the roads and paved trails. Remember to share the road.
One positive note is that the White River bridge on Highway 16 as you enter Elkins is completed, with super wide shoulders. This bridge has always been super sketchy in the past.
Thanks for the update!
