It is that time of year when counties and cities are spending their budgeted dollars on road “improvements.” Here is a running list of freshly chip sealed roads and road closures. Please leave a comment if you know of one that is not on the list and I will add it. Check back as I am sure more roads will be added to the list. Thanks, and feel free to share this with fellow roadies!

I’m happy to report that Black Oak Loop is ride-able. Please note the gravel is at the base of a descent, so be careful. Thanks to Jon J and Jason A for this photo.
Could probably make a quick (collaborative) map if you wanted to:

Thanks Adam. I’ll take a look.
E. Lake Rd, in Elm Springs, is also chip and seal.
Thanks Kelly. I’ll add to the list.
What about Brush Creek Rd? I think it’s still closed at the bridge.
Thanks! Yes I believe so.
Dude, don’t even get me started on the chip and seal. Highway 74 between Elkins and Wesley also, it’s so thick you can’t go much faster than about 35.
Is the bridge on old Highway 68 going to Siloam Springs still out?
It is out but passable on foot.
