CLIF ZBAR | GIVEAWAY! | ENDED
We love finding new things to stuff into our jersey pockets! And we have found the CLIF KID product line to be a nice mix up on those longer rides. While these snack bars are great treats for the kiddos they are also great for grownups! We are getting stoked about some outdoor adventures this weekend! So we thought we’d have a Friday giveaway!
We have 8 boxes (15 counts) of delicious ZBar Protein goodness to giveaway! You can also find them at your local Walmart. Pick up a box next time your shopping for groceries! Your gonna have to hide them from the kids though! Or not!
At 36g per bar, about half the size of a normal size bar, CLIF ZBars gives riders another delicious option for their jersey pockets.
130 calories (5g of protein) is a good amount of calories especially for longer rides when you should be eating at least every hour.
We also, love these messages on the packaging from CLIF owners Kit & Gary that explain why they’ve created such products.

Boating & biking
Getting back to weekly bike riding to keep my heart in good condition. Had heart valve replacement surgery two years ago, and it’s not functioning as it should. Hoping more riding helps improve that. My normal rides consist of 25-30 miles each time I go out. Started training for Square to Square, so I want to extend my limit to 40-50 miles. Plus, I spend about 30 minutes to an hour each morning on my Bike Trainer
Soaking up all the air conditioning I can. Is it fall yet?
Enjoying the many off-road trails in our corner of the Ozarks.
Getting back on the Back 40 and the new stuff at Hobbs!
Race in OK.
Family walks
Women of Oz ride (weather permitting), Fayetteville Wheelmen Sunday social ride, teachers back to school (a week earlier than usual), NICA mtb team practices galore, … live a wonderful life!!

Getting my NICA kids out and riding for fall season!
Gorilla Century at the end of August and lots of miles exploring new mtb trails.
I’m thinking about the 2020 Ironman in Tulsa, but I don’t know if I want to fork over the $800 + cost of training. *If* I enter, it will be around September and training will start soon. The Open Water swim is the part that worries me. The bike ride will be a “piece of cake” and the run should be doable assuming I keep my weight down and don’t hurt my knees/hips. I’m trying to talk Mark Morgan into it also. I think Mark is serious about the Tri stuff but I don’t know if either of us really want to go through Ironman “torture”. I don’t have a Tri-License yet. I’m wondering if I can maybe get by with a one day license…
Would also like to do the Hotter N’ Hell 100 in a few weeks but I’m not sure I’m going to be able to find a ride with another guy.
Couple 20 mile trail runs the next couple weeks with easy fun Sunday rides. More biking and training for a few marathons coming up this fall.
Getting to know all the gravel and off road trails in Northwest Arkansas.
