October – there is hardly a better time to ride your bicycle in the Ozarks.
OCA is proud to be partnering with the Banded Suffering bike ride event. Mark October 17th down on your cycling calendar and come ride! 100% of the proceeds from this ride benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Who is JDRF?
JDRF is working on finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. What is type 1 diabetes?
Glad you asked. Let Austin’s story shed some light on what it’s like to be 16 years old, a son, a student and a cyclist, living with type 1 diabetes. Click on the image below to find out more about the heart behind this ride.
The ride was an absolute blast and all your volunteers were phenominal. There were ample rest stops with a great variety of food and fantastic people cheering us on! Thank you so much for a great memory, I can’t wait to do it again next year! My only question. .. I heard a lot about this “Crawl Hill” and don’t think I got to experience it on the 55 mile ride. Do you know where it is specifically so I can do it another time? Many thanks!
