DESCRIPTION
Introducing the OORC Women Ride Series, a FREE 6-week series of rides designed to progress your skill and endurance as a mountain biker!

The Women Ride Series (or WRS) is just for women and led by Ozark Off Road Cyclists volunteers Anya Bruhin and Zuzanna Sitek. Each ride will focus on introducing various types of terrain in a fun, supportive, girls-only atmosphere while progressively increasing your confidence, endurance, and strength on the bike. Participants should have a mountain bike in good working order (flat pedals recommended), helmet, and hydration. Gloves, knee/elbow pads, and eye protection are also recommended. Riders should have a reasonable amount of base fitness (able to complete a 10-15 mile ride on pavement with ease) and be comfortable on a bike.

Registration is limited to 12 participants to maintain proper ride leader/participant ratio.

We ask that participants commit to the entire series in order to build from previous sessions. If you feel you cannot commit to EVERY ride please consider joining us for one of our one day events to allow another participant to benefit from the full six weeks.

Our goal is to empower a community of women riders to grow more confident on their bikes, active in their cycling community and connected with one another.

Ride dates are weather permitting. In the event that a ride must be canceled there will be no make up date due to the jam packed-ness of Zu and Anya’s calendars.
