Round Mountain Loop Distance: 25 miles Elevation: 1,800 ft Terrain: mostly flat with one sustained climb Description: Wyman Rd. is a fantastic stretch of pavement. Very light traffic and a stones throw from the city. You will need to be on some busy roads for short periods to get there. Click here for full description & link to map.
Wallin Mountain Loop (gravel/paved) Length: 30 miles Elevation: 1600 ft Terrain: mostly flat with 1 sustained climb Description: This is a great 1.5 hour loop that runs just south of Fayetteville. Savoy Loop (gravel/paved) Length: 36 miles Elevation: 1,600 ft Terrain: mostly flat gravel/paved route Description: A great dirt road option with tons of scenery that is never too far from civilization. Click here for full description & link to map.
Hell’s Kitchen Loop Length: +/- 46 miles Elevation: 2700 ft Terrain: rolling with two significant climbs Description: The Hell’s Kitchen climb is an iconic route here in NWA. Made popular by the Hell’s Kitchen Road Race. The HK climb is without a doubt the feature of this route. You will know it when you see it. Click here for full description & link to map.
3-4 Hour Routes
Winslow Death March Length: +/- 61 miles Elevation: 4000 ft Terrain: challenging & rolling with several sustained climbs Description: This is one of my favorite routes in Arkansas. Super challenging climbs with incredible scenery. Click here for full description & link to map.
Flughafen (Airport) Loop Length: +/- 58 miles Elevation: 2800 ft Terrain: flat to rolling Description: This is a great route containing many of the smoothest sections of roads in NWA. Click here for full description & link to map.
Goshen Loop (Short Course) Length: +/- 50 miles Elevation: 3,500 Terrain: Rollers and more roller Description: This is a challenging 50 mile loop. You will definitely feel like you have ridden your bike. Most of the roads have light traffic and a couple sections with heavier traffic. Barking Dog Loop Length: 50 miles Elevation: 2,600 Terrain: first half rollers, second half flat Description: This is a great route that is never boring and keeps you close to the cities. The first half is rolling and the second is flat. Click here for full description & link to map.
Almost Okie Loop Length: 56 miles Elevation: 2,700 Terrain: One significant climb, flat to rolling Description: This is quickly becoming one of my favorite routes. It takes you west almost into Oklahoma. Click here for full description & link to map.
